“tafelmusik”
Bernd Wegener and Stefan Zintel play tablemusic.
Musical instruments on a table: spinning tops, balloons, bells, whistles, wooden sticks, ping-pong balls etc., shaken, twisted, moved about – sounding. These sound-events, beeing electronically processed through self-written software on a laptop mix with the original sounds, slowly building up musical structures. In a small setting the audience is near the performers and thus gains unique insight into the actions of the artists. In large rooms the events on the table may be recorded with a video camera and projected onto screens, walls etc.
